Mitsubishi Electric HVAC FAQ's

Please reach us at info@ljcoolingandheating.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

A Mitsubishi Electric HVAC system is a high-efficiency heating and cooling system that uses ductless or ducted technology to provide precise temperature control and improved indoor comfort.

Ductless mini-splits have one or more indoor units connected to an outdoor compressor. They allow for individual room temperature control without the need for extensive ductwork.

Yes, Mitsubishi Electric systems are ENERGY STAR® certified and designed to deliver high efficiency, which can lower your utility bills.

Most standard installations can be completed in 1–2 days, depending on the number of indoor units and the complexity of the system

Yes, regular maintenance helps ensure peak efficiency and longevity. Cleaning filters and scheduling professional inspections once or twice a year is recommended.

Mitsubishi Electric HVAC systems must be installed by a certified contractor to ensure proper operation and maintain warranty coverage.

The cost depends on the size of your home, the number of zones, and the type of system. A certified dealer can provide a detailed estimate.

Most systems come with a 5–12 year limited warranty on parts and compressors, depending on registration and installation by a certified contractor.

Check that the filters are clean, the remote is set correctly, and doors/windows are closed. If the issue persists, contact a certified service technician.

Turn off the system, note the error code displayed, and contact your installer or Mitsubishi Electric support for assistance.
